Epistolary basically means letters. The example I have chosen is based upon a public response to a competition and is an informal yet informative and insightful collection of letters that overviews a particular area of a subject. The audience of this are the readers of the paper, and other writing enthusiasts that read letter of this nature for possible inspiration and ideas or just for plain entertainment. The online newspaper itself would participate in running a competition such as this, as it entices people to their outlet, and gives the public a chance to interact with the paper itself, building a wider communal relationship between the readers, the typical writer of the letters, and the providers of the newspaper.
